  • Kiyotsu Gorge - One of Japan’s 3 most beautiful gorges, is a stunning V-shaped valley made up of columnar joint rock formations and a crystal-clear flowing river.
  • Ikaho Onsen - Its famous stone steps were first built during the late 15th to late 16th century. The street lined with souvenir shops and inns has a nostalgic atmosphere.
  • Niigata Bandai Market - Stroll through the market to see local fish and other seafood.
  • Bandai Bridge - Is an icon of Niigata City. It crosses Japan’s longest river, the Shinano which divides the city into two distinct halves.
  • Ponshukan – A passionately cura ted selection of souvenirs, including Niigata’s renowned soba noodles, delectable delicacies etc.
  • Niigata Furusato Village - A multi-purpose tourism facility comprised primarily of the “Bazaar Hall” with its collection of Niigata’s products and delicacies, and the “Appeal Hall” with its introduction of Niigata’s history, culture, and tourist spots. There are also 60,000 tulips in bloom.

  • Sadojima - Enjoy a ferry ride to Sadojima.
  • Wooden tub-shaped boats - That were originally used for collecting seaweed, shellfish and other things from the waters around Ogi.
  • Senkaku-wan Bay Ageshima Park - Enjoy the glorious scenery of the Senkaku-wan Bay from the Ageshima Observatory and the Yusenkyo Bridge. You can also visit the Ageshima Aquarium to see coastal fish up close.
  • Kinzan Gold Mine - During the Edo period, it was one of the most productive gold mines in Japan.

  • Kakunodate - Take a stroll around the charming streets of Kakunodate this morning and be engulfed in the atmosphere of this former castle town and samurai stronghold.
  • Lake Tazawa - Japan’s deepest lake at a depth of 423.4m. The scenic caldera lake retains its natural and rustic atmosphere.
  • Oirase River - Winds through a pristine forest made up of towering white cedar, Japanese beech and maple trees.

  • Hirosaki Castle - First constructed in 1611, the main castle is one of the few in Japan that has not been rebuilt in the recent era.
  • Nebuta Museum - A facility that introduces the history and charms of the Aomori Nebuta Festival. At the museum, you can experience every aspect of the festival.
  • Fruit Picking - Enjoy fruit picking of your favourite fruit depending on the season.
  • ASPAM - A triangle-shaped building after the image of the letter “A” from “Aomori” and is a landmark of Aomori.
